Scotto Brothers CFO (Joseph DiRico) has been awarded the 2014 Long Island Business News CFO Lifetime Achievement Award.


Mr. DiRico's career with the Scotto Brothers began in January 2002.  Joe was hired to orchestrate the opening ofThe Inn at Fox Hollow in 2002, a luxury, boutique hotel in Woodbury, New Yorkand later the opening of the Hampton Inn in Princeton, New Jersey in 2005.  Joe was hired to oversee the hotels as acontroller and was later promoted to Chief Financial Officer of theorganization with responsibilities of restructuring the finance department inthe corporate office, reporting directly to the President and Chief ExecutiveOfficer of the company.

Joe’s knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry and itsoperations has flourished over the years and his experience in financing,budgeting, and projections have benefited the company over the years.  Having contacts and relationships withlending institutions has enabled Joe to complete a successful negotiation of$38 million in refinancing segments of the company’s portfolio.

Throughout his career, Joe has successfully held leadershippositions as well as consulting with owners and upper management on allbusiness decisions in terms of growth and financing.  Having involvement in most every aspect of abusiness, Joe has become knowledgeable in various departments including HumanResources, Risk Management, Sales, Computer Systems, and Business Strategies.

Joe is well respected and liked throughout the company andcurrently resides in New York City with his wife and two children.  Joe is an active supporter of the AmericanHeart Association and also supports Breast Cancer Research.
